A break from winter: Hangin’ on the Pacific Coast

Just south of Laguna, California, is a nice little line of steep beaches and rocky coves collectively called Aliso Beach.  The beach derives its name from Aliso Creek, which flows from the Laguna hills and meets the ocean here.  Adjacent to it is a popular snorkeling area known as Treasure Island Beach.  I couldn’t tell where Aliso ended and Treasure Island began, but I’m not sure it matters.  Here are a few pictures I took yesterday here and at Thalia Street…
